UP FOR SALE IS A VERY NICE OLD GERMAN BELSNICKLE SANTA CLAUS. GUARANTEED OLD NOT A REPRO. THESE PCS. ARE FAIRLY RARE THEY JUST DIDN'T SURVIVE. IT IS IN VG. COND. FOR THE AGE. THE LEFT SIDE DOES HAVE A FAIRLY TIGHT CRACK DEFINATELY DOES NOT HURT THE INTEGRITY OF THE PC. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL HOLE WHERE THE COAT MEETS THE BOTTOM ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SMALL PENCIL ERASER. THE BOTTOM PART DOES HAVE MINOR PAINT LOSE. WHAT IS NICE HE STILL HAS THE SPRUCE SPRIG AND HAS THE FRINGE AROUND THE HOOD BY HIS FOREHEAD. HIS FACE AND HAT ARE IN EX. COND. HAS THE GREAT OLD AGED LOOK YOU LIKE TO SEE. AS YOU CAN SEE PER MY PICTURE NO. 11 THERE IS A PC OF OF PAPER THAT IS TAPED ON WITH A NAME OF MARTHA DALEY AND A DATE OF DEC. 23, 1910. ALSO SOMEONE WROTE THE DATE ON HIS BEARD, PICT. 3. SO THIS SANTA IS ALMOST 100 YEARS OLD, POSSIBLY OLDER. HE IS APPX. 9 3/4" TALL. A VERY NICE OLD BELSNICKLE SANTA THAT YOU JUST DON'T FIND MANY OF, WITH A REASONABLE RESERVE.
