This is an extremely nice example of a German Bayonet, Model 1884/98 with the Sawback Removed. It is mounted with a beautiful blade that measures 9 15/16 inches in length. The blade remains in wonderful condition and is well marked on the ricasso "GOTTLIEB HAMMESFAHR SOLINGEN. FOCHE". The lovely light brown wooden grips are also healthy in condition with just a few minor dings. The metal scabbard remains very nice as well with only minor dings and light scuffing. Overall, the Bayonet measures 15 1/4 inches in length. There is no reserve. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
