This is a wonderfully well-preserved Japanese Army Dress Parade Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with an extremely nice machine made blade that measures 30 3/4 inches in length which remains in superb condition, still boasting the chemically applied temper line. The beautifully detailed guard also remains very nice and tight. The lovely, carved horn hilt has also survived in very healthy condition and the twisted wire wrap is still perfect and tight. The nickel plated scabbard has a single ding near the drag, otherwise remains very nice as well. Overall measuring 38 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
