You are bidding on a Gorgeous Complete Sefer Torah Scroll (the 5 books of Moses). The 5 Books, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy are all hand written in the ancient original Hebrew language and script on rare deer parchment. The scroll came from Morocco and is prized for its very soft deer parchment and beautiful writing. The Scroll is an original, it was written by one scribe and not put together from several scrolls. According to its script it is most likely to be from the 1600's. The parchment and writing through out the scroll is very well preserved and all sections are tightly sewn together with natural animal string. The parchment holds its ink and the letters are dark and clear through out the entire scroll.

The scroll has a beautiful warm brown color like scrolls that come from Morocco. Complete scrolls are seldom seen in synagogues or available due to their age. The scroll considering its age is very well preserved and in very good condition and will stay beautiful with care for centuries to come. Included with the scroll comes a beautiful pair of wooden handles.
