Description

This listing is for one cherry burl block.  this wood is green and ready to make something

Size:   7 1/2  long  x5 1/4   wide  x2  in thick

 

Grade:  Very Good

Grade Description:  Very good  grade  will be mostly burl lots of eyes and color and  some minor inclusions or fizzures

Chokecherry burl is a wonderful turning wood with sweet color variations and lots of sapwood contrasts.  Will contain lots of swirls and black lines.  will contain great eyes and deep

burl patterns.  will probably contain some kind of

inclusions  this is part of the charm and is not considered a defect., so buy burl only if you are comfortable with this sort of material.  the results

are worth the drama always.  i cannot see into the center of the chunck  but am confident that it contains sweet wood or i wouldnt be selling it.  thanks for looking.
