Lid: Pretty gold tone scroll design border. Inside border there is a black back ground with a beautiful oriental scene that is mother of pearl high lighted as you move compact the mother of pearl sparkles with beautiful eye catching shades of blue pink green and mauve. There are just a few light vintage surface scratches on the black back ground

Base: Gold tone very good bevelled mirror hinges and catches

Inner lid: Gold tone very good condition opening into powder well

Interior: Light sprinkling of loose powder a looks lightly used sifter and no puff.

Pouch: is grey ish colour
