NO RESERVE!!! NO RESERVE!!!
Made by Vickers Ltd who were more famous for armament production than sewing machines. The Company started manufacturing sewing machines during World War One and production continued until the mid 1930's. This machine is a copy of a Frister & Rossmann V.S. and was probably made in the 1920's. During the 20's and 30's Vickers flourished but by thr late 1930's demand so high for armaments they shelved the poor old domestic sewing machine. so that was the end of Vickers.
THIS SEWING MACHINE IS IN VERY WELL KEPT CONDITION FOR THE AGE OF IT....IT DOES HAVE SOME NICS AND MARS ON THE WOOD. THE MACHINE IS OPERATIONAL ALL MOVING PARTS STILL WORK. IT HAS THE ATTACHEMENTS FOR IT IN ITS COMPARTMENT. THE CASE IS A LITTLE WORN BUT COULD EASILY BE RESTORED IF WORK WAS PUT INTO IT. THIS IS A COLLECTORS DREAM!!!!!! YOU WOULD LOVE THIS SEWING MACHINE ONCE YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON IT.
