VICTOR "M" REAR MOUNT OUTSIDE HORN PHONOGRAPH - PRE-DOG

This auction is for a Very Nice Early Pre-Dog - Victor Monarch (M) with a Tulip Horn.    The case has a nice original tiger oak effect with a 3 tier base & strong corner columns with fancy molding all around.  The serial # is M - 18068.  It has an early motor that was serviced not to long ago & runs very good.   The turntable felt has been replaced at one time in the past.   The original back bracket has about 85 to 90% of all the gold & blue showing.  The original reproducer has been rebuilt along with a new rear flange for great sound quality.  The tone arm needs to be replated as a good amount of gold is showing thru.   It has the original crank & wind very easily.   I believe that the elbow is original but am not sure as it has been replated.   The horn is very clean & I'm sure it is a reproduction but extremely nice.   Overall this is a very nice early pre-dog Victor "M" & will look great on top of a cabinet.
