English - 1940's

In Rare Blue Striated With Gold Filled Trim - Stunning !!!!!

Length In Closed Position :   5 1/16 inches (12.8cm)

Nib :  WATERMAN'S   14CT   W5   -  in flexible fine with good iridium and smooth on paper.  Nice writer !!!!!!

Please note that the front two teeth of the feed have broken off at some point - only cosmetic and do not affect the function of writing (see pic 10) .....

Barrel :   No cracks or personalisations. Crisp imprint. Very light wear to the gold filled lever.

Cap :  No cracks or personalisation.  Screws onto the barrel with smooth 1 1/2 turns. No wear to gold filled cap bands or art deco style clip.

 Filler : The pen is a lver filler, to use with bottled ink only and operates perfectly. 

Overall Condition :  Excellent !!!! - The pen and nib unit have been fully cleaned and flushed with water. New ink sac correctly fitted , tested and ready to use or to store in a collection.

An excellent, rare, useable and collectable vintage Waterman's fountain pen !!
