A Collectible Certificate from FRANCE Issued in the 1920s This is a 100 Franc Bearer Bond !!! These Bonds from a now defunct French Company were at the time the same as cash because they could be redeemed by anyone who possessed them - hence the term "Bearer Bond". It bore the title: Anciens Etablissements RUELLE et Cie et LeDUC réunis One of very many corporations that were reorganized (réunis) in Europe after World War I, it took part in an Explosion of Capital Investment that was typical of the 1920s around the world and which were soon doomed to failure as a result of the 1929 Stock Market Crash !!! This one bears the name of two Families that were well-respected in France at that time in Scientific and Cultural Circles. While less imposing from a distance than the Bearer Bonds of many American companies, it features a marvelous elaborate Scrollwork around the border, a fascinating Corporate Seal at the bottom left and Two Dozen Coupons which are still attached. This Bond is in Excellent Condition for its age VIRTUALLY PRISTINE and CRISP AND CLEAN and is EXACTLY like the one you will receive.
