VINTAGE 1922/23 MARTIN TENOR SAX saxophone w/ case

tenor sax, serial # dates this to 1922-23. marked 'The Martin' on the bell, but think this is a phase 2 Handcraft w/ the beveled toneholes. please go HERE for as much correct info as I coudl find - there are so many variations of these saxophones, but I know for sure the date is correct. serial number on neck matches one on the bell, good condition, one small ding on the side, finish is as expected for its' age, gold inside bell. comes with original case - corners have tolex missing in spor showing wood, latches all work, interior good with no smell/odors, leather handle still sturdy but worn. needs new pads but seems to be fully functional as best as we could test is - no one here plays.
