 Here we have a  tin VINTAGE 1939 California Worlds Fair Mobil Flying Pegasus Horse Tin License Plate Topper. It measures 5 1/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches long.  This is the real deal.  Not a reproduction.   It is from the Golden Gate International Exposition 1939-1940  San Francisco. It was a worlds fair that celebrated among other things the San Francisco Golden Gate bridge that was dedicated in 1937. The exposition opened in February 18, 1939.  This license plate topper is in good vintage condition. As you can tell by photo # 1 there are some rubs on the paint. I would say very minor for its age.  There are no bends in the tin.  The back is rusty.
