Description: 1956 Fender Telecaster.

Cosmetic Condition: Good condition overall - nicely aged with some minor wear.

Issues: Refinished body & neck. Refretted. The neck has been shaved down & the profile is now very slim. Changed tuners, pickups, pickguard, bridge plate, control plate, pots & wiring. The control knobs appear to be original. The neck pickup cavity was at one time routed for a humbucker, but has since been repaired.

Weight: 6 lbs 13.5 oz.

Neck: Very slim profile neck - sort of a soft V-shape that has been sanded down. The guitar has been refretted & there is no fret wear. 1 5/8" nut width (1.60").

Body: Refinished body - very resonant with nice acoustic tone.

Pickups: Non-original Tele pickups - newer reissues. Bridge - 7.02K ohms; Neck - 7.11K ohms.

Set Up: Professionally set up by our own luthier & strung with brand new Ernie Ball .10-.46 gauge Slinkys.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; comfortable to play, although the neck is quite slender. Nice sounding pickups - classic Tele tone.

Case: Non-original tweed hard shell case.
