VINTAGE 1959 RUBBER FACE STUFFED PLUSH REINDEER NR MINT

You are bidding on a poseable 1959 RUBBER FACE STUFFED PLUSH CHRISTMAS REINDEER named CHRIS JINGLE!. Chris Jingle , Santa's youngest reindeer and little helper, was the Xmas Mascot for the Rexall Drug Store Co. in 1960.  This stuffed animal toy is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition, with NO SPOTTING or marks on his plush body, and very minor rubbing on the top of his ears and horns,  and on one cheek. Made by the Columbia Toy Products Co., copyright 1959, with original tag still attched. Very CUTE and SWEET cross-collectible!

Color is tan-orange with round white spots and four black hooves, as issued. The is a red ribbon around his neck, with 2 green jingle bells. Jingle bell collar may originally have had 3 bells. The legs have wires in the for posing, which keeps this great toy upright and on his toes at all times. The contrast between the tan body and the white spots is not as obvious as it may have been 50 years ago, but Chris Jingle is still clean and bright and will display very well. Smells and looks clean! Reindeer measures 12" tall, 8" long and 3.5" wide overall. Rubber face alone is 5" from neck to tippity-top of ear.
