Up for auction is a vintage Life magazine from December 13, 1963. The articles in this issue include In a Year Noisy with Quint Squalls Remember the Diligentis?, Volcano Spawns a New Island, The Political Vituoso Gathers The Forces to Take on The New Job, and many more nostalgic historical articles. The center of the magazine features a full centerfold pictorial ad for Seagram's V.O. "We Have Never Suggested Giving V.O. to Everyone...But", "Seagram's Imported Known by the Company It Keeps". This magazine appeals to all interests….with classic holiday advertisements such as Norelco, General Electric, Old Grand-Dad, Campbell's, Pepsi-Cola, and articles on Lyndon Johnson: Man, Roots, Family, Thrust. The front cover features a classic picture of President Johnson at His White House Desk; the back cover features a full ad for Salem cigarettes "Salem Softness Freshens Your Taste With the Smoothest Flavor in Cigarettes Today, Step Into the Wonderful World of Salem". Overall, the magazine is in excellent condition, the paper it was printed on is called a "slick" and therefore, the pages are not crumbling or yellowing except for the very edges are slightly yellow and a few of the edges show some wear on them, which for a 44 year old magazine it is remarkable!
