VINTAGE 1971-1972 GIBSON SG SPECIAL GUITAR w/OHSC CLEAN

This is a 1971-1972 (serial # 779234) Gibson SG Special guitar in all original clean condition. There is a 2 stamped on top of the headstock so i'm guessing this was a factory 2nd. Probably something in the finish, it doesn't matter any more of course. Shows the typical small scratches, finish chips and dings, etc that you would expect with an almost 40 year old guitar. All honest playing wear. No cracks or repairs. The neck is straight and the frets are still good. Action is nice and low and the guitar plays and sounds great. Both pickups and the electronics work fine. Nice 70's brown color and the black/white binding on the neck is a good touch. The neck has a really comfortable thin C profile. Weighs 6.12 pounds, the nut is 1 9/16ths. Comes with the original purple lined hard shell case, the top of the end latch came off. Still works fine and I will include the part that came off.
