Here is a nice, older trombone. I don't play this instrument, but I will try to describe it the best I can. It is a shiny brass in color. On the horn it is engraved: CONN U.S.A. and has the band members with the shooting stars above. The horn has a diameter of approx. 7 1/2". By where the slide piece connects, it says: 14-H with the SERIAL No. R07385, placing it, I'm pretty sure, from the year 1972. There are a couple small dents on the main tube (that the horn is on)-nothing major though. The slide also says: 14-H. The slide slides effortlessly back and forth....(if you tipped it upside down it would just fall down). No sticking at all. The little pad is still intact on the lever. Has the locking slide mechanism. There is a mouthpiece with it...it says: CONN 3. It's all neatly packed in a hard, CONN, carry case. Inside is lined with a navy blue/purple, felt-like material. Has the little storage compartment with a bottle of slide oil in it. One of the latches is broke on the case...other 2 work fine. Case is still solid-handle intact. Would make a terrific instrument for a Student....at GREAT SAVINGS!!!! Hope it 'slides' your way! Buyer to pay shipping-accept cashiers check, money order, personal check (US banks only). No paypal. Sometimes I can't get to all questions before the auction ends, the most common question is shipping: If over 4 lbs. it goes Fed Ex insured-I do not add a handling charge. Under 4 lbs. goes USPS. Out of the U.S.-all items go USPS priority or express, whichever you prefer.
Most items listed are vintage, described to the best of my knowledge. All items sold AS-IS.
Please note: The shipping cost stated is only an estimate. The shipping calculator has been way off lately-usually higher. I will not know the exact charge till the auction ends and I know where it is going. I will then send an invoice.
