Up for sale is a 1979 Gretsch Beast 5000,model 8250 guitar that I have had since 1980!This guitar has a few cosmetic problems like the cap missing from the bass and treble switch, the on and off cotogo switch on the back is broken(has no effect with the electronics working, the guitar just stays on once you plug it in which can be controlled by the volume knob) and a small piece of the trimming on the side of the neck has come off (see pics) but let me reiterate and tell you that none of these things affect the playability or sound of this guitar!!The action and setting of the strings on this guitar is unbelieveable! There is no fretting out or buzzing nowhere on this guitar! The neck is very thin and smooth and plays as good and comfortable as any guitar you have ever played!! You fix these minor COSMETIC problems on this guitar and you got one of the best playing and sounding guitars that you have ever played! The neck is a 1 piece solid through neck that is straight as you can get a neck.I've personally have played this guitar for 28 years in probably 20 different bands and it is one of the best guitars I have ever played or owned. All the electronics work including the 2 volume knobs that you can push in or pull out to cut or amplify your volume without touching your amp or pedals! Believe me,if I didn't need some extra cash right now,It wouldn't be for sale.If your not fully satisfied, simply turn it back in to me for a refund minus shipping! There are minor scuffs and scraps as you can see from the pics, but this guitar is ALL ORIGINAL!! I'm going to let this go to the highest bidder! Sorry no case is being sold but I will package it proffessionally with extra care taken with the one piece neck.I will ship internationally but please email for your shipping charge before bidding. If you want more pics or info, please feel free to contact me.As you can see from my feedback I am a honest eBay seller and buyer.Feel free to make an offer if you dont want to wait until the auction ends.
