Description: 1980 Gibson Firebird III electric guitar.

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall - some minor nicks & dings & surface scratches.

Issues: Stamped as a factory second. It's really impossible to determine why it was deemed a second due to its age, but there are no structural or electronic issues with the guitar at all.

Weight: 8 lbs 13.5 oz.

Neck: Slender mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard with minimal fret wear. 1 11/16" nut width (1.68").

Body: Mahogany neck-thru body with two mahogany wings.

Pickups: Dual Gibson mini humbuckers. Bridge - 10.9 ohms; Neck - 6.1 ohms.

Set Up: Professionally set up by our own luthier & strung with brand new Ernie Ball .10-.46 gauge Slinkys.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; very comfortable neck. The frets are a bit low in my opinion but overall the guitar plays great. Classic Firebird tone with the dual mini humbuckers.

Case: Newer Gibson hard shell case. Not original to the guitar.
