The book is in excellent condition for it's age.  NO known torn or missing pages in this book. This book is very tight and  bends in the right places.   Corners are turned up from normal use and a few torn edges, but not bad.  Since all books I sell are used, some may contain some foreign writing.  This typing book does contain some writing.  There are notes pretaining to typing lesson on the inside cover.  I tried to photograph this with the hand exercise page.   All used books usually have shelf damage.  Most softcover books have bent corners.

This auction includes two seperate sheets that were found in this book.  One has some notes on typing skills and the other is a practice sheet - front & back - authenticating it's use in a school.

A name and address appear on one of the sheets listed above.  I date this book purely on local speculation.  The paper makes reference to the Jr High School and an address in Huron, SD.  A Polio benefit is mentioned in this practice sheet to be held at the Arena which will be sponsored by the March of Dimes.  Also a local name appears on the typewritten page.  After researching the above information, we estimate this was a book from 1949.  Almost sixty years ago this book would have been used by an 8th grade student from Huron, SD.  

It appears that only a few students probably used this book.  The timestamp above indicates that this book was probably only used for 1 or 2 years.
