VINTAGE WEAVING INSURES THAT THE LINEN DOES NOT RIP OR STAIN

58" X 48" OF BEAUTIFUL WHITE LINEN WITH COLORFUL WHEAT AND FLORAL PATTERNS

This tablecloth has been washed a hundred times and more.  Yet the colors are as brilliant as new and the handpainted design has not moved. The fine tooth weaving is as strong as it was and as white as it was.  I have even put it in the dryer and it has not changed!

The pattern is typical of French wheat fields with poppies, daisies and bachelor's button flowers that usually grow in the middle of the fields. The flowers make a wreath at the center and four bouquets form the corners.

Now that the family has grown I cannot use this small tablecloth that is only good enough for 6 people.  But it is lovely and I hate throwing it away.
