Vintage 5-Digit Hand Counter Number Clicker Arithmometer

Here is a vintage metal arithmometer manufactured by Veeder Root of Hartford, Connecticut.  It has 5 digits and counts up to 99999. The zero clearing device and counter are still smooth after all these years. It measures 2 ¼” X 1 ¾” X 1 ¼” high. It has 4 holes in the base plate for securing to a counter.

My uncle used it while coaching and playing golf. He loved to watch boxing and used it to keep his own tally of his favorite boxer’s hits! It could also be used to count attendees at events or anytime where counting is important.
