VINTAGE 8 7/8" GRISWOLD ALUMINUM SELF BASTING LID - A413C

IN GOOD CONDITION THERE IS SURFACE WEAR DUE TO USE AND AGE. I AM SURE THIS IS ALUMINUM AS A MAGNET WILL NOT STICK.

MARKED SELF BASTING - PAT'D. FEB. 10, 1920 - GRISWOLD - PATENT. 17005. - ERIE PA. U.S.A. A413C

MEASURES 8 7/8" ACCROSS WITH THE FIRST RING BEING 8".  IT IS APPROX 2 1/2" TALL INCLUDING THE KNOB.

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS. THE KNOB HAS WEAR AND A COUPLE OF BURN MARKS. KNOB IS HELD ON LID WITH A SQUARE BOLT.
