From Adele Simpson, a three-piece outfit, probably from the 80's, in a spectacular red fabric threaded with a metallic gold. The suit features a long collarless jacket with self-buttons, a knee-length skirt and a long-sleeved blouse in a matching, but lighter fabric. The fitted jacket has four buttons in front and a single button on the cuffs, two patch side pockets and a breast pocket. The skirt has a tailored waistband, lightly gathered skirt and a side zipper. The blouse buttons up the back with self buttons and has three-button cuffs. Both the jacket and blouse have shoulder pads; the jacket and skirt are fully lined.

There are no tags indicating fabric content. The jacket and skirt appear to be a silk or silk blend, while the blouse appears to be a synthetic fabric. Made in USA; ILGWU union label. The original price tag is in the pocket.

Flawless condition; looks unworn. It appears that it has been carefully stored without picking up any wrinkles or odors.

The suit is marked size 8, but in today's sizing, might be a 4 or 6. The outer garment (not body) measurements are taken with the items lying flat. Jacket - bust 41, waist 38, hips 42, center back length 29, sleeve from upper shoulder seam 25; skirt - waist 26.6, hips 40, center back length 24. Weight: 1 pounds, 7 ounces plus packaging.
