This item up for auction is a Vintage Akro Agates 50 Count NO.4 Unique Marble Box measuring about 9" x about 4-11/16" (the lid size) x about 15/16" high with the 50 original to the Box Shooter-Size Unique Marbles, measuring just under 7/8" in diameter, just what you will see in my pictures and what you will see in the pictures I have of it in the American Machine-Made Marbles Book as this is the ACTUAL BOX SET pictured in it, and to add provenance to this Set, the Book is included in the auction and will be sent along with the Marble Box! The Box and the Marbles inside are guaranteed vintage and NOT a newer reproduction Set and if you would buy them and aren't pleased with your purchase, I'll gladly refund your money! The box lid has some light waviness or rippling and has some dark water-staining at one end of it with some light white residue inside at this end, also has a small piece of old tape on each of the longer sides, otherwise the box has some light waviness, bowing and bulging, light soiling, staining and smudging, light edge roughness, rub and wear, etc.., nothing real major, all of which you should be able to see in my pictures, still structurally sound and still a pretty decent old box. The Marbles were never played with and while some have some asmade damage (I spot checked about a dozen of them with a magnifying glass and saw one with some annealing hairline cracks and saw a few small asmade touchmarks, tiny bruises and reflections, tiny scratches, etc..), they should all be in the same condition as when first made and boxed many many years ago, and all in all, this is still an overall very nice and very hard to find Item that would be a prized addition to your Vintage Marble Collection especially if you don't have one of these yet!
