THE CLEARER THE IMAGE, THE MORE LIKELY THAT THE CHILD IS DEAD BECAUSE THE SUBJECT NEEDED TO BE TOTALLY STILL BECAUSE OF THE EXPOSURE TIME NEEDED TO CREATE A PHOTOGRAPH DURING THIS TIME IN HISTORY. ALSO, PHOTOGRAPHS WERE EXPENSIVE, SO THEY WERE NOT TAKEN OF MOST PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, UNLESS THIS WAS THE ONLY IMAGE THAT THE GRIEVING FAMILY WOULD EVER HAVE.
