ANTIQUE, VINTAGE WOODEN ROCKING HORSE

 

Please take a look at these pictures. This is what I believe to be a very old original rocking horse. I have searched the web and I can't find anything like it. It could possibly be something that a daddy built for a child but if it is he sure put a lot of time into it.

 

By no means is it in good condition but the structure is still sound. This unit looks as if it was hand painted back in the day. Today, as you can see, a lot of the paint has came off. The veneer has peeled and it is faded out. It measures 29 1/2" from end of rocker to end of rocker, the rockers are 10 3/4" wide, it is 12 1/2" high to the top of the seat, and it is 18 3/4" high to the top of it's head.

 

There are no names, numbers, or anything on it to find out about it. If anyone knows or can tell me anything about it please let me know.

 

This may be the find of a lifetime, please bid to win. I have a low reserve and you can start the bidding at $.99. This will take a rather large box with a lot of padding to protect it. I will also insure it for the amount of the winning bid.
