This vintage electric lighting fixture comes from a 95 year old row house which I am renovating in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This fixture is not as old as the house, but is still vintage.
It is stamped metal, probably steel; not cast metal. The sides might be painted aluminum, as they did not rust like the top or roof of the fixture did.
Other than removing this sconce from the wall, and wiping it off a bit, I have not done anything else to it.
This fixture has 3 glass inserts on the sides. They are not plastic.
I tried to show the condition in lots of pictures below.
This sconce was made to hold 1 standard base light bulb. There is no indication as to safe wattage.
Measures approximately 8.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide and sticks out from the wall 4.75 inches.
