You are bidding on a vintage telephone with a wall-mounted telescoping arm and ringer box. Also included is the hardware for mounting the phone on the wall. The ringer box is pictured with inner workings shown-it appears to be working fine, and will ring when properly wired to the phone. The phone is marked with the Automatic Electric logo, and appears to be a version of their Space Maker model. It is attached to a telescoping arm mechanism, which is marked American Electric Company Chicago, and has a patent date of September, 1914. The phone, handset and ringer box all need a little cleaning-there are white paint spatters on one side of the ringer box, which do scrape off. Overall, however, given the probable age of this equipment and the use it most likely received, it is in remarkably good condition. This should be a really fun restoration project for some lucky telephone enthusiast. Please email with specific questions.
Personal checks are held 5-7 days for clearance.
