VINTAGE BACCARAT CRYSTAL KNIFE REST * MARKED

    I purchased this knife rest for myself six years ago.

    It measures approximately 3 1/4" X 1 1/4" X 1/2".

    The top is smooth. The bottom has the decorative design seen from the top. The four sides and ends have raised ball shaped designs.

    On the knife rest is a circle marked; BACCARAT FRANCE. In the middle of the circle are three designs that look like a wine glass, a decanter, and a glass.

    On first look the knife rest is in great condition. However, there is a small flea bite on the smooth surface that I found with a magnifying glass. One corner of the smooth surface has a small nic. I found this by feeling. It is a little rough compared to the other three corners.  These small flaws are normal form age and use and do not detract from this lovely piece in any manner.
