| This is a vintage Bell Telephone advertisement from 1944 during WWII. Every ad during WWII was in connected to the war effort and support of the US Soldiers. It is a piece of very important history that needs to be remembered. It is a picture of a US soldier talking on the telephone to his wife back home. The ad reads, "HELP HIM GET THAT LONG DISTANCE CALL THROUGH TONIGHT. You can do it by not using Long Distance between 7 and 10 p.m. Those are the night-time hours when many service men are off duty and it's their best chance to call the folks at home." This ad is in very good vintage condition. It was cut out of a 1944 National Geographic Magazine with a professional cutter. It comes to you in a page protecting sleeve and protective packaging. Comes from a smoke free environment. Framed, it would make a great gift for a Bell Telephone Collector, WWII Buff, or a Vintage Ad Collector, someone who is in the cell phone business or someone who loved and remembers a US Soldier during WWII.
