VINTAGE BLACK ONYX EARRINGS SET IN 14K GOLD-SCREWBACK
STUNNING DOUBLE BALL - BEAUTIFUL CONDITION-MARKED!

This auction is for a beautiful pair of vintage black onyx earrings set in 14K gold. These earrings each have a double black onyx ball, one larger on on top (5mm), and a smaller one set below (3mm). The setting is stamped 14K and the onyx is very securely mounted.

These earrings were beautifully made and are also marked with the manufacturer, "M" with an arrow through it. This is the mark of Fray Jewelry Company of Providence, Rhode Island, founded in 1914, and they are no longer in business. Fray also owned a patent in 1931 for their special way of mounting stones in clusters, for security and show how beautiful the stones are. We are thinking these were made in the late 1930s or 1940s.

This pair of earrings are in IMMACULATE CONDITION and have no nicks on the gold. The onyx stones are simply gorgeous and very lustrous. Some photos were taken with flash and without flash, but either way, they still reflecting the light.

The Black Onyx stone is worn by some to strengthen self confidence and enhance your sense of responsiveness. Wearing it can make your senses sharp and promotes the healthy self centeredness of the body.
