Description

Up for auction is a beautiful Vintage Tweed Coat by "Bonwit Teller, designed by Gare." This is just an awesome piece to purchase and quite unusual!  The details are so intricate for such a fine piece. 

This lovely coat reminds me of the female version of Sherlock Holmes...It is a beautifully rich tweed fabric in a black, taupe, and cream color...quite a looker!  Sort of a transitional era look...Will go nicely with retro mini dresses or even today's "mix-n-match" anything goes fashions.    Now here's the real scoop on this coat...the buttons--they are styled in the "Corde" fashion--OMG!  Totally lined in black--the coat, that is.  The photos simply doesn't do this piece justice.  Measurements:
