VINTAGE CG CONN LTD EARLY TROMBONE ENGRAVED W CASE 18H + NR
I recently picked this trombone up at an estate sale. I am not an expert on musical intruments and will try to describe to the best of my ability. Just above horn is marked MADE BY CG CONN LTD ELKHART IND USA with engraved flowers surrounding it. Horn section joint that slips on to piece parralel to mouthpiece is marked 18H. Attached mouthpiece I could not find a marking on and is seems to be stuck on. I did not try to force it and will leave it up to the new owner to remove it. Above mouthpiece on next joint is marked 23. Parallel other side of joint is marked 248720. Beginning of slide piece is marked 18H 248720 with star. Parallel other side is marked 23K. The next joint up above tension wheel is marked 23K. Other side of slide on clamp is marked 248720. Slide appears to move freely. Slide section does not appear to have any dings. Horn section does show some some dings in some areas. The bell section measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter. The case of trombone shuts and locks but is in rough condition in some areas. The extra mouthpiece included is a KING 11M. I have included many supersize pictures for viewing and have done my best to describe this item. Please feel free to ask any additional questions on this item. I will sell this item strictly as is with no refunds. Please bid accordingly. I found some more information on this company at a couple websites .
