You are looking at an old cotton banking money bag from the 1950's.  It measures 17 1/2" wide and 36" long.  This old bag was given to my grandfather way back then by a relative who worked at "The Birmingham Trust National Bank" in Birmingham, Alabama.      FDIC is printed on the bag as is "Federal Reserve"......

It has aged well and would be a great collectible if you like this type of thing.  If you have any questions, please ask me.  I know nothing about banking bags but it is in fairly good shape with no tears in it.  Thank you for looking!
