This was the classic Bible History textbook used in Catholic Schools and Catechism classes for years prior to Vatican II. It is very complete and extremely well laid out. The authors are well known for their  Catholic Educational materials. The text of each chapter is followed by a "things to know and to do" section where it asks questions relating to the chapter, and suggests additional reading and activities.

It covers both the Old and New Testament of the Bible. Here are some of the topics:

MINT CONDITION. Never used. Some pages have obviously never been opened! Very difficult to find this book in original condition! Since its such a good book, most copies you see are well used.
