Vintage or antique decorative scissors Dimensions are 5 3/4" long. These beautiful scissors probably belonged to my grandmother. They came from a box of things directly from the family farm near Mexia, Texas. I assume that they are steel, and there is a bit of rust on the inner blades. The handles appear to have been painted in a gold color, and are cast metal in a pretty floral design. They still open and close, although the screw is a bit loose, and they still cut. I can find no maker's mark on them. I am unpacking boxes weekly from my elderly father's estate, and listing the new items as soon as I can.
