This pitcher belongs to my sister. I am selling it for her. She purchased it at a local antique store a few years ago, but I do not know its age or maker. This is a very nice depression glass pitcher. It is straight shaped and has a nice long handle. The top of the handle has a depressed area for the thumb to rest for added strength and ease in use. It is clear with linear designs on it. I don't know the name of the pattern but the pitcher has 12 oblong, or cigar shaped, designs encircling it. The bottom of the pitcher has a starburst design in it. Lines begin in the middle and radiate outward toward the widest part of the bottom. This pitcher is 5 5/8" tall. It is 4" wide, not measuring the handle. It is in great condition. It doesn't have an chips or cracks. There are a few glass scratches to the body of the pitcher which is normal for the age of the piece. They are not readily visible and do not detract from the piece. I will gladly combine shipping and insurance for multiple auction winners, where possible, and IF you contact me before you pay for the items. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNINSURED ITEMS. |
