VINTAGE DOMINION AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION SIGN CANADA OLD

Up for auction is this vintage two-sided Canadian Dominion Automobile Association sign. This would be the equivelent of AAA here in the states.

The sign measures 22 inches by 23-1/2 inches. This is a two-sided sign that was meant to be hung above something like a door way. The two gromets at the top hung it up (probably from a piece of angle iron that extended from the building) and then the one gromet on the side of the sign attached it to the building to stabalize it in the wind.

The sign is solid with no rust through. As can be seen in the pictures the sign is faded and it does have some surface rust. This is a metal sign and is not porcelain. On the bottom it's printed "Property of Dominion Automobile Assoc. S.T.M.S. '66 Made in Canada".

This sign definitely has some patina to it and will make an excellent rustic display piece. I think you'll be pleased to add this one to your collection . I will ship to Canada.
