     In this listing Oldmarlees is featuring a Cut Glass Sugar Bowl & Creamer Set. Each piece stands about 2 1/2" tall. The sugar bowl measures 4" from handle to handle, 2 1/2" in diameter at the rim and 2" at the base. The creamer measures 3 1/2" from handle to spout, 2 3/8" diameter at the rim and 1 7/8" at the base. There are no chips, cracks or other damages to note on this attractive set, nor is there a makers mark to be found.
     Both of these elegant cut glass depression pieces start with a Starburst Pattern on the bottom of their 1/4" raised round base which then begins a cut glass pattern that resemble v-notch cuts that completely circle the dishes in graduating layered 3/8" sections. As these outside cut glass "layers" extend upward to the v-cut rim, they widen the pieces to the dimensions previously listed. The inside area of each dish is a smooth glass.
