| Welcome to Dusty's eBay store ! Usually it's speakers and speaker systems here at Dusty's. But over the years I've sold many guitars as well. This is one of my personal basses which I have decided to part with, but this one a hard one to let go of, I've had it for years. A 1973 Fender Telecaster bass in blonde finish. Serial number 351510. Excellent condition. No issues. Killer bass tone, absolutely booms. Some typical Fender finish crazing, a very small amount of play wear on the underside of the neck, very minor case wear on the bottoms of the right side bouts, a little reach-over wear on the edge of the left lower bout from the underside of my forearm. Virtually no buckle rash, not even one major scratch, dent, ding or gouge. Overall it's at least a '9' or higher by anyone's standards. The electronics work without fault and the bass plays and sounds incredible. It had a Gotoh bridge on it when I got it, fortunately the original bridge and cover were in the case. I put them back on and the original bridge covers 4 screw holes from the Gotoh. Like practically any other Telecaster bass from this period that is playable, this ones been refretted. The frets originally used by Fender wore out very fast so nearly any Tele bass you see is a refret, weather the owner knows it or not. I had mine done by a tech who does considersble work for me and he did a fine job, the frets look and play as if they were factory. P bass fret wire was used. The refret was done years ago and I've been happily playing the bass since with no problems. The pickguard has a tiny crack I can not photograph. Not in the usual place between the pickup and the neck. This one runs from the pickup to the edge below were your wrist might be. This also was repaired years ago when I got this bass, it's stable and solid. You can barely see the crack even when you get right up on it and the pickguard lays flat. It's just a great looking, great playing bass with infinite class and earth shaking tone. The original logo case is in fair condition but has reliable latchs and a good handle. condition.
