 VINTAGE GILBERT REGULATOR 

Up for auction is this very fine Gilbert black wall regulator, which appears to be circa 1940's. This clock has the original finish, pendulum, works, and key. The clock is clean...runs and keeps accurate time...gongs when it should. DIMENSIONS: 30" TALL, 11"WIDE, 5" DEEP.

The clock case is ornate with applied carvings, and is in excellent condition. The clock face and hands appear original and are in very good condition, with some staining on the bottom of the brass face.The brass face has intricate white leaf etchings around the border,as well as in the center. The original reverse painted glass door panel is in good condition.  The top 3-finial crest is detachable, as is the bottom finial.

This is a GREAT looking clock in PERFECT running order, and would be a SUPERB addition to any decor or collection.

As with all clocks of this age, it may need adjustment after shipping to ensure proper performance. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT CLOCKS ARE PLACED ON A PLUMB/LEVEL SURFACE prior to winding and/or adjustment.
