This is a really pretty hurricane style lamp. It is probably from the 60's or 70's. The gold part on the bottom has some chipping and pitting on it, the wires that hold the shade also have some discoloration to them also. The shade is glass and the bottom part is also glass. It has a chimney on the inside. It is electric. But this lamp is really very pretty. I have had it in my bathroom for several years on a lovely old dresser, but I love to change things every now and then so I hope someone else will enjoy it for a while. It is a vey sturdy lamp and would look very nice in any room in the house. I(t stands about 16 inches tall to the top of the chimney. The flowers are yellow and green with a little bit of brown.
