VINTAGE HERMES Black/Camel WIDE CUFF SUEDE GLOVES

Up for your consideration is a pair of authenic HERMES 2 tone suede gloves. Jet black gloves, with camel brown cuffs. Black piping, and stitching. No fading or graying of the black, no wear on the fingertips, or really anywhere. I hardly think these were ever worn, but they were. These gloves were found in the recent KINGS POINT Long Island estate call I went to. KINGS POINT is equally as wealthy as the HAMPTONS. The old logo, inside says HERMES 24 FS MONORE PARIS. Some of that information was unclear. The other glove says 6 1/2 117. I emailed a friend of my sister's, who works for HERMES, and tried to get him to give me ANY information about these gloves, for example, how many were made? when these were made? what are they worth? He emailed me back, saying he is prohibited to disclose any details, about HERMES products outside of his job. So, I bugged him again, and asked him, if he could just help me DATE them... I asked him if the logo has changed much, since these were made... and he was kind enough to tell me that it has, as a matter of fact, several times since the ones inside the gloves. So I asked him, if he would agree with me, that these are from about the 1950's, judging from the style, and he agreed with me. Sorry folks, that's all I could get out of him.

These gloves, are in excellent condition, with only a couple of minor stains, as indicated with my arrows. There is some edge discoloring, or light dirt, on the edges, as is commonly found on the edges of suede articles, when gently worn. Please see photos, and enlarge them. Unfortunately suede is like a dirt magnet. Dispite these disclosures, you're looking at a very rare pair of gloves, that can be cleaned, by a professional suede dry cleaner establishment.

Here are some measurements, for those of you who dare wear these: Cuff width is 9 1/2", cuff opening is 9". Cuff width is 2 3/8". Glove length, from cuff edge to tip of middle finger is just over 13". Glove width, over the top of the hand, NOT including the thumb, is 3". Middle finger length is 3 1/2", from tip, to curve.
