YOU ARE BIDDING ON ONE 1800'S ERA MASONIC KNIGHTS TEMPLAR TYPE SWORD. SWORD BLADE HAS " JAMES ALLEN " INSCRIBED ON IT AND HAS A GOLD TONE TO IT. SCABBARD HAS THE SAYING" BE YE FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH AND I WILL GIVE YOU A CROWN OF LIFE " SWORD IS 35" LONG, WITH AN IVORY HANDLE. THE PICTURES SHOW MOST OF THE SWORD AND SCABBARD. THERE IS SOME PITTING ON THE METAL SCABBARD BUT NOT MAJOR. SWORD AND SCABBARD HAS A LITTLE MORE DETAIL THAN MOST SWORDS. SWORD WAS MADE BY THE HORSTMANN COMPANY FROM PHILADELPHIA.
