This auction is for a vintage piece of Hull Art Pottery that dates back to the 1940's. It is in the Wildflower pattern but the colors and decoration are quite unusual. This line features hand-tinted floral decoration embossed on a body of two-tone pastels! The top and bottom of the piece have a two-tone spray that distinguishes this pattern! The colors on this particular piece are Fall colors; brown, tan, dark red and green. The piece also has some handpainted gold trim which is also unusual. The colors are really quite pretty!
The vase has two handles and it stands just over 6" tall. The base is marked Hull Art S4 - 6 1/4 U.S.A. Both sides of this piece are shown in the photos. The vase is in good condition; no cracks, chips, crazing, or stains. One handle has been repaired -- so it is being sold "as is". There is a closeup of that handle in the photos.
