What a great item!. This is an Ideal PT boat (I think PT-109) with keywind and gunners turret in the rear. It is in fantastic condition and is about 11 inches long. I find no breaks or cracks. In fact it's still a little dusty because I didn't want to take a chance of damaging it while cleaning. The key wind works great, maybe a bit stiff from age. The eagle carrying the torpedo sticker is 100%.

The key wind mechanism is very interesting. It sits between the guns in the turret. There is a little metal pin with a screw cap that sits on and restricts the gear that turns the propeller. When you lift the guns, the pin raises, the gear turns free and so does the prop. Was this some type of on-off switch or maybe something to fire caps? Someone clue me in please. There is some minor damage that I have a close up of. I think the picture shows the 4 small melt marks pretty well.
