VINTAGE JAPANESE SILK PAINTING SPOTTED DEER LANDSCAPE

Here is a gem for the lover of Asian art!

This is a very lovely Japanese painting on silk, of several Japanese red deer, relaxing by a river. They are in their spotted coats, so it is probably spring or late summer.

I really fell in love with this painting, because of the charm and detail, and the sensitivity of the subject. I confess that I am an animal lover, and if you are, too, perhaps you will appreciate this one as much as I did.

I have included several contrasting photos of the fine detail, as well as the back, to show that this is an older painting, probably framed before 1960.

The frame is a little beat up, and you might want to reframe it, but the painting has been very well protected behind glass, all these years. It is in ideal condtion, and very lovely!

This is a signed original, bearing the mark of the artist.

There is a bit of glare from sunlight on the glass in all of these photos, which is one reason I took several of the same view (so you could compare them). There is NO fading, or damage anywhere to the artwork. All of the colors are bright and strong!
