A Genuine Original "SUPER SPACE CAPSULE" Tin Toy by S.H., 1968...seems to be in fair working condition with astronaut opening doors & moving wheels!

This is a rare Japanese tin S.H. Horikawa "SUPER SPACE CAPSULE" battery-operated model...
Circa; 1968, made in Japan...
This RARE TIN TOY appears to be overall good condition, with bright colors and graphics...it spins around and two door panels fly open, on one side an astronaut pops out taking pictures with a green tv monitor behind him...on the other side a control panel appears with a mysterious green porthole, it closes up and repeats action over again...it also moves forward! Fun to watch. It looks absolutely amazing!

Uses 2 D batteries. Seems to work OK! Battery compartment is clean, but one wire is taped to battery? But, it runs! Model has some plastic parts attached to the metal and might be missing some pieces and it might supposed to do more than I described....but you're buying it for what you see here...IT'S A FUN TOY!!!!
Space Capsule measures approximately 10"(25cm)high & 6"(15cm)wide.
The switch is on the side and has wheels to spin it around on the bottom, etc...but it obviously has been played with and has the usual small scratches from wear and tear over the past 40 years!
This TOY was marketed at the time the Apollo program was preparing to land on the Moon.
The colors are bright, not faded....it is marked on the tin with the S.H. logo Made In Japan.
The neat TOY has great detailed graphics! Very cool!
This great piece of space memorabilia is ready to display in your media room or give as a gift to the SCI-FI fan in your family!
Any SPACE aficionado will absolutely love this famous & genuine vintage CAPSULE TIN TOY!
This Toy is in fair/good condition and has been stored in an acid free bag and in a smoke free environment in a a temperature controlled storage room since being acquired...
