This is an Antique Table Lighter of a Knight in Shining Armor. It is in excellent condition BUT I do believe a shield is missing (I bought it just like it is). The knight is made of a metal and the base is made of bakelite. It measures 7" in height and 3" around the base. The helmet flips open to ignite. The flint is still in it but I don't think any fluid is. I have not tried to light this because I did not want to do any damage to it so it is "as is". On the bottom it reads as follows: Made in Germany   Weltzunder, Modell Ritter

This item is truly a collectible and a conversation starter!! It dates back to the early part of the 1900's.

May God Bless You and Keep You Safe!
